Chapter 7 - The Target on His Back
Knowing he can’t trust the local police, Robert makes a copy of the video and hides the original SD card in a safe deposit box. He tries to reach out to a state trooper friend, but before they can meet, Robert is pulled over by two of Captain Miller’s corrupt deputies. They rough him up under the guise of a "routine stop" and issue a veiled threat against Emma. The message is clear: hand over whatever Emma saw, or the porch incident will look like child's play.
