Chapter 3 - The Broken Flowerpot
Internal Affairs suspends Robert pending an investigation into his "aggressive behavior" toward an HOA official. Diana publicly claims Emma was destroying property—a broken terracotta flowerpot—and needed to be detained for her own safety. Robert returns to the scene and finds the shattered pot, but something is wrong. The dirt is dry, yet it rained the night before. It’s planted evidence. Emma, still recovering, remains terrified and refuses to speak, clutching her favorite stuffed bear tightly.
